Please help stop child abuse. It's possible to make a difference. If you see it, step in and make it your business to put an end to it. There are agencies to call & they should be called. When you first realize what you are witnessing, you may want to pretend that it's not really what it looks like. We all want it to not really be that way, but that doesn't change the situation as it is. You can change the situation by offering your support to the child & assisting children's services in whatever way you are able. It may seem like you're asking to be burdened by getting involved, but what's the alternative for the child? Is there any worse burden than being the abused child with no one to turn to? If you ignore it, wouldn't you feel the weight of having betrayed a child & yourself?
